In 1990, I would have waited for your favorite songs to come on the radio and hurriedly pressed Record on my boombox. In 2000, I would have downloaded songs from Napster in my dorm room and put it on a mix CD.
Whether you have been the giver or recipient of a mixtape, we all know that it's something very special and personal. It's a soundtrack of a moment in time. In High Fidelity, John Cusack said "Making a mixtape is like writing a letter..." Thank you for sharing all of your favorite love songs with me. It was quite an interesting selection.
